“One thing is for sure; we will all encounter adversity in our lives. The attitude with which we handle it will determine our future.”- Jason Blyth
Jason states that until he turned thirty, he lived his life believing he was the victim of his childhood. He made choices that continued to keep him bound to that victim mindset, and like a self-fulfilling prophecy his life got worse. Until one day, Jason finally decided to take responsibility for his future and everything changed.
Today, Jason shines his light to stand as an example and a beacon to others, showcasing a life that truly attests to the fact that no matter how bad their past might have been, we all hold the power within us to reimagine our future. We all have the choice to live our life as a victim of the past, or a victor of the future.
“To inspire others to take responsibility for their lives by living my life in a way that demonstrates that no matter where we come from or the circumstances of our past, we all have the power to make the conscious choice to live a life of positive purpose.”
“It is my vision is to inspire the next generation to take conscious responsibility for the direction of their lives. The choices we make today will determine tomorrow’s future. I am aiming to be living examples that testify to the hope for our youth to follow. It is up to us to live a life of purpose regardless of the circumstances of our past.
Read MoreIt is my vision to inspire our youth to look within themselves to build the resilience and character needed to handle life’s inevitable trials. As we encounter the hardships and crushing of life; the choice to view ourselves as either “the victim” or “the victor” will decide our destiny. How we each choose to embrace hardship and pain while standing in the flames of adversity will dictate whether we are burnt to a crisp, or refined as valuable metal. Without much repeated heating, pure gold cannot be produced. The perspective with which we view our challenges will eventually define our fate. I ask the question: Are you a victim, bound to your past? Or the victor who learned the wisdom that comes from being on the field of battle?
It is my vision to impact the future leaders of our world to take real responsibility in their obligation to themselves and their community by educating a more conscious and emotionally intelligent young person who has the unshakable courage to face adversity with grace in this present age that is unlike any other time in human history.
It is my vision to equip today’s youth with a solution fit for the future.
In our modern age of social media connection, our young people have never been more discontented and disconnected. The mental health crisis our world is facing is at tipping point and as a result, our young people are unprepared to inherit the legacy that will be left to their charge.”
